DM nunu is an obvious, he already has infinite AP and Hp from dragonmancer and armor and MR from cavalier so sustain is really the only thing that he really needs. Pantheon has 40% dr, gains ad and ap from whispers. Typically gets itans for some Mr and armor and just needs sustain to go infinite.
That said, unlike Dragonmancer Nunu, and more like Karma, this is a reroll build, which means you have to commit relatively early. I had a game just yesterday where there were 5 dragonmancer nunu players and 3 lagoon players. I ended up taking 1st as I dropped from 9 lagoon to 6 and added in Yasuo, Bard and Rakan. Sohm was able to kill everything except for the nunu, but Rakan and Bard kept him CC'd long enough for yasuo to execute him.

if you nerf nunu then non dragonmancer nunu becomes useless . thats not how it works man. You can reduce his absolute damage (which is the main problem with dm nunu) and he´s still useful in ordinary cav mirage comps where his task is to buy time for Deja, not one shot units. Nerf != Useless.

Yesterday was the only time I’ve played the nunu comp and only because the game gave me dragonmancer spat and a nunu on PvE then high roller came up as on augment so it kind of handed me a 3star nunu. Lost to an Olaf scale scorn for 2nd place.
